Logo options for a group focusing on public transportation, specifically light rail and streetcars.
With any logo that pertains to "environmental" or "ecological," it's hard to get away from the leaf/tree icon. It's not necessarily a bad thing, because the fact is: the leaf/tree is an iconic indicator of all things natural, clean, renewable & environmental. It's an instantly recognizable element for something that's environmentally-related.
1st logo concept:
This logo started out as an abstract, futuristic interpretation of a train/streetcar (the blue element). From there, we wanted to introduce the clean and green portion, so it quickly became part transportation-related (the top part of the icon), part leaf (the bottom part of the icon). Together, we think it works as a cool interpretation of an environmentally-related organization focusing on transportation! |
